I am in need of books or resources to do this. I am looking for information on karma in my chart, trines info and such. Any ideas?

Greta, you need an Astrologer's Astronomical Ephemeris, a standard 4-fnction calculator, preferably with a 12 digit read-out, a Tables of Houses, and a source for showing latitudes and longitudes of the various places in the USA or the world. Concerning the ephemeris (a daily planetary position guide) you will probably have to purchase 2 of them, one for the 20th century and another for the 21st century.
