flipped cards

i often see this within faqs about doing readings... i have a good question tho... if you shuffle ur deck and just pick the cards on the top how can they get like upside down?... i can see in my case i spread them all around me and all in different directions.. and then they can be flipped through that way... but sorry its a dumb ? but i would like to know how is it possible or something.. srry its unclear lol

I don't use reversed cards....If I mix them up by moving them around on a flat surface, I go through them and turn them all the same way... ;)

*laughs quietly* Flipped cards are reversed cards. I guess I could explain it a bit.......

When you turn all your cards over and mix them around on a flat surface, so they get mixed around, more often than not you have reversed cards when you put the deck back together. With that said, I go through the deck afterwards and put them all upright. However, I rarely use that method of mixing them - usually I shuffle them as you would a deck of playing cards (so I don't end up with flipped cards)

i knew what u meant flaire :-p... cuz i do the same exact thing with doing my cards n such... i just flip the around to be normal... or am i still getting it wrong? lol

naw actually i was saying that if u just turn the cards around if they happened to be upside down... like when u do a reading for urself and u see that one is turned upside down ur like "ohh let me just turn it around" and you just ignore it or someting

Yeah...If you don't use reversed cards then it's alright to do that. :)

Let me just add that before you lay out the cards that it would probably be best to decide if your gonna used reversed cards or not. Then, if you get one you'll know how to react and won't be surprised.
