Let's all take a trip down memory lane, shall we? :p

What were your favorite games when you were a kid? Or what are your favorites now if you still are one (whether in reality or at heart)?

Mine were/are:

~ Hide and Seek
~ Jacks
~ Skipping Rope
~ Mother, May I
~ I Spy

I loved to play

capture the flag
Sorry!
Life
hide and seek
and the ever popular game of "doctor" with the boy down the street (I was twelve and have a feeling playing doctor back then was WAY more innocent than it is now days- that was 18 years ago!)

I was one of those children who loved to play imaginary things instead of games with pre-set rules. :) My favorite things to pretend were:

*teacher
*wizard (I used to run around in circles chanting things and pretending I could control the wind, even before I knew anything about magick and WAY before I ever knew what casting a circle was)
*doctor (I liked to perform teddy-bear surgery)
*concert pianist

Sometimes I liked to play hide and go seek or I-spy...but very rarely. :)

Definitely Hide & Seek...since I lived in such a small town, we'd use the whole townsite as "in bounds".... Made it so much funner.

Crazy Eights
Rummoli

Those are all the ones I can think of right now...

Ooooooooh...Red rover. :shaker: We used to play that at recess all the time- I'm surprised I never got hurt in all that time, then just recently I messed up my wrist playing.

But you learn to love the rough games when you're "one of the guys"
