Hmm.. Well, I am a little new to rituals, so although this experience may seem nothing new or exciting to you, it's thrilling to me, so I decided to share. :)

A little while ago, I was performing a strife banishing ritual. I have been dealing with a lot of tension between my friends and I, and decided that a little magick couldn't hurt. So after carefully creating a ritual...I performed it.

I was a little nervous because rituals always make me a little nervous, but everything went pretty well. I was very pleased. At the end, I looked out my window at the stars. I saw a shape, but couldn't quite tell what it was. Then suddenly it struck me, it looked like the letter "Ayin" (hebrew). So, I ran over and grabbed my aleph-bet deck from the shelf. The letter Ayin signifies change and spiritual vision. This REALLY made me happy because not only does it speak of change for the good, but I had seen a few shooting stars during the ritual when I glanced out the window. I thought, at first, that it was just my contacts reflecting candlelight (they do this sometimes), so I did not take it seriously. That is, until, I looked at the Ayin card and remembered that the stars seemed to "shoot" in a pattern of a Magen David (six rayed star).

Maybe I am being a little silly and overreacting...but I'm pretty pleased and eager to see the results of the ritual itself. :)

:D I was so glad to find this thread before I started a new one! No, you're not overreacting, I think it's awesome!

Last night, I did a working on my deck. When I had raised energy and was really into my prayer, a set of wind chimes tinkled every so softly and ever so briefly.

I have SEVEN sets of wind chimes on my deck, and this is the ONLY one that moved. I got an incredible rush, knowing that my prayer has been answered :)

I'd love to hear others share about ritual phenomenae that they have experienced.

Well, I had one that reminded me about subtlety...

I was camping on a beach (that I go to often, and know the weather patterns very well). It was an unusually overcast day - normally it's overcast there until around 11-12, then sunny all afternoon. Well, by 3 PM it was still cloudy, and I decided I wanted some sun. So I closed my eyes, concentrated, and "pushed" the clouds over the horizon.

Not a half-hour later, the clouds swept away. The odd thing was, they were in a straight line, as if someone took a big board and used it to shove all the clouds over the horizon. My Dad was camping with us, he'd been rockhunting on the shore, and came back saying, "Did you guys SEE that!?!"

Oops! :)

About a year ago, I attended a group New Moon ritual. While we were doing a round, we ALL heard a bell ring. There were fifteen of us and EVERYONE heard it. It seemed to be coming from the closet.

We looked after ritual. There were no bells in the closet nor was there anything that could have made that type of noise.

And my life did change drastically not long after that ritual.

Well, the magick seems to have done the trick!! My friends and I are getting along MUCH better now and things turned out as I hoped. There is, of course, the typical teenage stress problems...but nothing massive as before. =) I'm quite excited. It's been a great weekend and I'm hoping it is only the start of a great week. :):):):):):):)

My friend Shea had been in a car accident, was not wearing a seatbelt, and was not expected to live. Her body cavity had filled with blood, so they were afraid to operate on her, and she was paralyzed. Our coven held a healing ritual outside in the mountains in mid July. As we finished, snow flakes began to fall from a warm cloudless sky and turned to water on our skin. There was such a feeling of the sacred as I have never encountered before. Some were laughing, many were crying and laughing. It was a moment when the whole world seemed to be holding its breath to listen. Shea was taken off the critical list and survived.

:) Magick Happens! And God and Goddess answer prayer, however you'd like to put it.

After my working the other night, I got a call regarding more freelance work and another call this morning for a job interview.

There are lots of little things that I've noticed after ritual. For instance, one night after we finished an Esbat ritual, a cloud or some type of light extended up over the moon in an arc. It looked like a white rainbow.

Congratulations on the interview and good luck!!! I'd love to hear more about the moon phenomena you witnessed, it sounds quite breathtaking. :)

Thanks! This is almost too much........I was thinking about quitting my freelance business. My appointment with the attorney this afternoon indicates that a lot more work might be coming my way, but now there also seem to be opportunities for full-time jobs. I'm praying for the strength to do both for a while to clean up my financial situation but it might mean working 7 days a week for a while.

That experience was really strange........I looked, and there it was and it didn't stay long. It was beautiful.

And tonight, driving back to Flar's, the full moon was in my view all the way (60 miles). I use all this driving time to meditate and pray, and at one point I looked up and it looked like there was this brilliant white bar across the center of the moon! I don't know if the clouds caused it or what, but it was awesome. Very, very bright. I've never seen anything like it before!

I had yet ANOTHER wonderful experience.

Being new to my path, I have been looking for a good place to begin and finally found one. As silly as it sounds, it took me a month or two to figure out that the place to start is the lowest sephirot, Malkhuth. Malkhuth, as I explained in another post, is the nurturing mother of the tree of life. She interacts with humanity and dishes out karma. ;)

Anyhow, to formalize my persuit of Malkhuth within my own life, I decided to perform a small ceremony. I lit incense and white candles, read a few torah verses and then lit on fire a piece of paper on which I had written "anger, bitterness, resentment, excessive sarcasm", all things that hold you back from attaining Malkhuth's motherly love and compassion. Everything was going absolutely normal until I began to speak my mantra for the ceremony. As I chanted "Negativity out, Malkhuth in.", the fire began to burn GREEN! Yes, GREEN! I thought I was going insane, but after blinking, I still saw GREEN flames. I was astonished. After the paper had burnt out and I had finished being giddy (;)), I took my aleph bet cards from the altar and did a layout of seven to describe the nature of this path. The reading was incredibly useful and explained some things for me. The cards added up to the number 1, the card Aleph. I recorded this happily then looked out the window at the starry sky. What did I see in the stars? ALEPH! It could not have been more clear!! I saw the main line then the one ascending and one descending line. I was astonished.

I'm veeeery happy with all the good luck I've been having recently, and giving thanks for the blessings each step of the way.
