I'm wondering if anyone uses Oil of Oregano? I have some and I'm just curious if it works like I have been hearing. I hear that the oil helps with healing wounds, heart, and much more.

It kills bacteria and yeast.
For that reason, it theoretically helps the immune system.
HOWEVER,
It kills bacteria...the good, and the bad. You need the good bacteria in order for you digestive system to thrive.
Yes, it can help with the heart, too....but so can other things that are not as 'astringent', if you will.
Therefore, in my opinion, oil of oregano is something that should be used sparingly for a finite length of time.
Further, unless it's encapsulated, you should mix it with a small bit of olive oil (or some other carrier) if you intend to ingest it....Because it can tend to burn the esophagus if used straight.
This is a good article:
