Over the past few months, I have had two new goddesses courting me and I'm excited that everything has finally fallen into place. Freyja was the first patron I identified and I met Hekate later. I have recently met Selene. I've been doing some research and realized that Freyja is my maiden, Selene is my mother and Hekate is my crone.

Freyja caught my attention through books and conversations with someone that I met and claimed me during a ritual that I participated in. This was a Norse ritual and I had actually learned an Old Norse chant to prepare for it. I had a very powerful experience during the drumming. Hekate did the same during a ritual I participated in to honor her and Brighid at Imbolc. Selene actually whispered to me through a song I was listening to about her. Its meaning spoke to my soul and I knew that She would be working with me.

Not everyone has the opportunity to particpate in the types of rituals that are available to me but this could certainly happen during a solitary ritual. It took a long time for me to identify with my own patron goddess. Stay open and pay attention to little details that come your way, and you will recognize Her.
