Mars in Aries

Looking at my natal chart I can see that I have Mars in Aries and I would like to know what significance this plays in my Journey.

Is this a key element in what makes me me, or is it just another aspect that serves to underpin the more major aspects such as my Sun and my Ascendant?

In other words is it significant in and of itself or is it nothing more than a component part?

this isnt very useful but I have Mars in Aries too,Mars in Aries makes you highly assertive,bold,sometimes act without thinking and delight in competion,you enjoy leadership roles and enjoy fighting for what you believe, sometimes also tactless[from experience I think that this is sometimes one of the few down sides of saggitarius anyways]and offensive.....dont know if that was what you were looking for...hoped it helped anyway

Mars in your chart tells you about your basic Yang energy. It shows you what energizes you, gives you ooph, and vim and vigor. It shows how much sexual appetite you have whereas Venus shows how romantic you are. It is also about your temper and drive. It is about the body particularly, so it reflects on your health.

Having Mars in Aries is hot. Mars is happy in Aries, Mars rules Aries, so you get lots of the positive Aries traits. You are not afraid, your have physical power and zest, a very strong libido and you don't get sick much. But with such strong Yang, you need to watch your temper and learn to control your passions some. Your Mars energy will show up especially in the area of your life represented by what House it is in. You need to really express your power in that House, and also control your force there.

I have an Aries Mars, but it is in the 12th House. People don't see it, or expect it. But if I get mad, it is usually because I, or someone is being oppressed and/or abused, and I will fight to the death. On the downside, I am not allowed to suspress or repress past trauma. It will out. It will drain and distort my energy and attack my health if I practice denial. People with Mars in Aries in the 10th House, get energy and vitality from their careers. They are extremely ambitious and can over do it, but Mars in Aries in the 4th House is harder, because these people can be too Yang Banging with their family and have too big a temper at home.

By the way, Mars in the sky is in Aries right now, which causes everyone's temper to be a bit hot. But it also gives us all a boost of vigor! It is coming into conjunction with my Aries Mars and here I am awake and active in the middle of the night! I probably won't get too tired until my Mars/Mars conjunction in Aries is over.

Check to see where 8* Aries hit in your scope, what House it is in. This is an area of your life where you have lots of energy right now, and where you temper may erupt. Channel your power wisely.
