I always listen to classical music when I try to meditate. It usually puts me in the right mood. But I was wondering if anyone could tell me of a good guide book to help me learn the proper techniques. I have a book called concentration and meditation by Christmas Humphreys and it is very good, but it talks about how when you meditate, you can sometimes access the psychic plane, but then it goes on to say that that realm is a realm of falsities and it isn't real, o you should ignore your psychic experiences and focus more on your meditating so that you can reach final enlightenment. I was just wondering what other people's thoughts were on the subject. Thanks!

I love books and reading and obviously meditation :D but I don't own any books on meditation so I can't help you there.
Have you looked on Amazon.com/uk ? If not, do a search on there and have a look at the books reviews to see what others are saying.

Sorry I can't be of more help, and good luck on your book search :)

I think Meditation is just something you have to learn yourself
its very individual

I most always use quiet music when I meditate as well
