Has anyone here checked out the website http://tarotpedia.com ? What are your opinions?

The bit I saw makes me think it has potential. It will be tough for them to do a better job than http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/ unless they can come up with features or information that are absent over there.

I'm in the "re-learning" stage after a 20+ year absence. I wasn't impressed with the tarotpedia.com and wouldn't find it useful at all.

I absolutely love aeclectic.net/tarot and its usually my first reference.

I like your second link better. Not so busy, gets to the point.

Having been a member of Aeclectic for years, it is the one site that I usually recommend above all others for new tarot readers.

Tarotpedia seems to want to be mainly an informational site. Which is fine, but once you go & read the information, you really have no reason to go back there. The card definitions might be something you could go back to again, but card definitions are available on many other websites as well.

The thing it is lacking, and the thing that I've found most helpful with tarot sites, is PEOPLE. A discussion board for tarot, with many tarot enthusiasts participating, is IMO a much better way to learn. You are getting the opinions and experiences of others. Purely informational sites lack the human element. :)

(if there was a discussion board, or chat room I apologize, I did not see it)

Might become an interesting occasional resource.

Lisa, I didn't know (or possibly remember) that you were on AT! What is your username there?

I'm Rhiannon over there. I am rarely on anymore, but I still help Tom out with the calendar every year. :)
