The title is the question. I see it in Path Specific forums but I really don't know what it is. A simple definition would be nice:thumbsup:

Reconstructionism is a way of bringing historically based pre-Christian practices into the modern time. Usually this means looking to historical sources, archaeology, folk practices and whatever else can help in reconstructing religious practices that have generally not survived in tact.

Reconstructionists tend to focus on a particular culture, which is why there are various subforums in this section. There's a good summary here. (http://www.ecauldron.net/reconindex.php)
