Taco Bell has a new mascot!

the other night, kaylara and i went to taco bell to grab some munchies. she and i were sitting in my car talking while waiting for the person to come back to the window with our food. in the midst of the conversation, i glance past her into this little bush garden thing and this huge rat comes skittering out of it. he's running around in the mulch happy as can be and when i point him out to kay, he books past the car towards taco bell. we didn't see him enter it or anything but i'm assuming he did. kaylara named him charlie.

I've often seen children sitting around a campfire singing a folk song about the legend of Charlie. They then sing it to their children and so on and so on.

Soon, generations down the line will know of the wonder that is Charlie.

But for those useless trivia buffs, here's the scoop on chihuahuas (the Taco Bell dog). They were orignally bred for the spanish galleons as ratters for the ships. So if you're wondering if Charlie and the Taco Bell dog looks similar...

It died??? I did NOT know that....must have eaten too much tacos. Did anyone hear that one incident where this girl had eaten there and it ended up having cockroach(Sp?) eggs in it and they got in her mouth and eventually HATCHED....so gross.... lol yeah my brother refers to it as "Taco Bell....the other green meat"

The cockroach thing is on snopes as an urban legend however there have been cases of fly larvea in the gums and I was sent the pictures online the other day. Either way you need to be carefull with your teeth.
