Understanding for my sanity...

Dear Goddess & God;
Please help me to understand that I cannot help everyone, all of the time. Help me to deal with the fact that I can't hug everyone who needs one. Help me to not feel guilty about not being able to feed everyone who is hungry, clothe those who are bare, give shelter to those who have none. Let me understand that while one person can make a difference, I cannot do this on my own. Help me to not feel the weight of the world on my back, and to stop being so upset when I hear of suffering people and animals, when there is so much that I have that others couldn't dream of it.
(And if possible, help me to feed the hungry, clothe the needy, give shelter to those who need it, hug those whose day is going bad, help animals, and do my part to heal the world.)

Amen can work:) The word is not Christian, it is latin, a language that was spoken before Jesus walked the earth. It simply means "So be it!"
