I was online when the news came over the net last nite and I just broke down.

What a marvelous man.

Along with his incredible body of work, watching Monsters, Inc. just won't be the same now!

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. And I thank him for sharing his talent with us. :(

I really liked "In Like Flint", "Our Man Flint" etc............And his role lately in "Eraser"............He was a Hell Raiser in his time.........He is remembered fondly!! :D

One of my favorite movies, Young Guns 2, has him in it. He played John Chisum. He was an amazing actor, and will sorely be missed. Rest Well, James.

As a Brit and from a country so lacking in film actors with colour, I too was deeply upset to hear of Mr Coburn's passing. I absolutely loved his work and his personality which came through in everything he did.

He was sheer class and a one-off. RIP Mr Coburn.
