Well folks, it's number 20 and they're still going strong. (Besides the overly blatant product placement and the sell-out commercials. The must be low on funds.) I'm a loyal fan of OO7 and plan to see it the first chance I get. What's you're opinion?

I've seen a couple of 007 movies, but I'm not a huge fan. :p (I do prefer Bond movies over some other movies though. ;) )

Not to date myself but I have seen all the Bond movies at release on the big screen. I have no intention of missing out of this one. I have to say the only two Bond's I really liked were Sean and Pierce, but I am loyal fan of Ian Fleming so... I watched them all. Totally escapist mental junk food...:D

James Bond James Bond James Bond!

I don't know if I have enough money to see it this weekend but I'll see it over the break. ;)

I'm sort of different kind of Bond fan though because I've read all the books too. :D

Impressive, Mithrea! I don't know any Bond fans who have read the books.

I love Bond films. Like Old Witch, I didn't care too much for the Dalton Bond flicks. I particularly love the Connery and Moore films. Bronsan does a good job too. I find him to be so suave and sophisticated. I am looking forward to seeing the new film. :D

Yep...I love Bond. My husband and I will be going Friday. This one suites both of us well as we are both huge 007 fans, I've always had a thing for Pierce Brosnan and he can get his fill of Halle Berry. Everyone wins!

I like James Bond. I think I'm going to Harry Potter this weekend, cause I promised my son we'd see it. I still love "A View to a Kill" for a very cheezy reason, but it's my reason. I like that Duran Duran did the theme song. Plus, it's got Grace Jones & Christopher Walken in it! What a cool bad guy duo.

I like Roger Moore & Pierce Bronson. My mom LOVES Sean Connery. She refuses to watch any new Bond movies. She's odd like that. :T

I'm going to stand out a bit.

I've never seen any of Bond movies. I guess I wasn't interested and all the fuss made me even less interested.

But maybe someday, who knows, I'll do a small marathon and watch all of them. It may take a week, but still, it's possible:D .

will wait til it cools down and then go see it.
who was the actor that played bond in, "Her Majesty's Secret Service?"
I know it wasnt Sean, Roger, Tim, or Pierce(obviously)
Its his only bond movie, he never got another. Also, I think he
gets married at the end of that one, and then they kill her off in
the next one.

It was George Lazenby. And his wife was killed at the very end of that same film.

Timothy Dalton didn't do a really good job as Bond, but I still say Sean Connery http://www.plauder-smilies.de/sabber3.gif even tho he's older, he is still like the sexiest man alive, I think it's the accent.

they lost me when they did the bit in one of the early movies when the armorer made bond turn in his .32 beretta for a .32 walther ppk, saying "it hits like the hammer of thor".

Your way of saying you haven't watched a Bond flick since the first one?

(We just rented Dr. No. {The scene happens early-on. He has to leave his Baretta behind.} It had a "cartoon short" -- Pink Panther. And an extended trailer for the theatrical release of "From Russia With Love".
