Hi, I'm new here...duh! I have a lot of questions about a lot of things. I hope you guys can point me in the right direction. Okay, this might take awhile!

1. I had (still might have) a ghost (?)...spirit (?)...demon (?) that had attached itself to me one night while I played on the quija board. (I was like 12 and didn't know you wheren't supposed to play alone!) My friend was playing with me but became very tierd and almost instently fell asleep. (Weird in itself.) Well, years past and I became older and lot my baby fat and began to look more like a women then a child. The 'spirit' noticed these changes and well...*sigh* I don't know if I can explain this with out writing a huge paragraph....Lets just say it torcherd me and left marks on me by doing sexual things....uh....anyway, I tried to banish it by telling him to leave. I even had a few dreams with him inside of and tryed to banish him then, he laughed at me. My friends tried to help, but where only left with deep, red, burning claw marks. Everytime I would talk about him, i would get light headed and (for some reason) my eyes would turn gold. There's a lot more, but i don't want to bore anyone. My question is, what sort of spirit was he? He said he hated me and the reason why he was there was because he was supposed to help release something inside of me...what does that mean?

2. My friend who was studing to be a Shawmen told me my spirit animals. He said one was a hawk, but what kind he wasn't sure, but it had long feathers coming from its head, wolf, feild mouse, and an owl. How can I tell if this is true or not? And what do they mean?

3. My three coven sisters have all had a dream with a man in a black top hat, tux, and sometimes with a cane. He would walk up to us and say, "I have something important to tell you." Now my friends feel nothing but fear and run or fly away from him and he chases them. I on the other hand feel no fear. I asked him what it is and he walks away. I never know what it is he wants to tell me. I've been told that he is an evil being and I should never ever follow him. But if he was an evil being...wouldn't I sence it like my other friends do? Is HE the fear or is the answer he is offering that makes them run? Am I not ready to hear what he has to tell me and that is why he walks away?

4. Has anyone read The Mayfair Witches by Ann Rice? If so, how would one find a spirit that could do as he (Lasher) did? I.E. bring them money, jewels, books, protection and etc.? (Not includeing the sexual parts of corse.) If it doesn't harm anyone, is it okay? Do the laws of three apply here? Is there such a spirit? Is it safe?

If someone could answer these questions, please tell me. Thank you for reading my long post! Blessed be!

Well first...Welcome!!!

Now, let me try and point you in the right direction as far as your questions are concerned. Some of the answers you are looking for may be found in other sections here at MW.

For instance, the totem animals and the dreams you might want to try looking in the Divination forum. I know they've covered the dreams thing there quite a bit. (They've helped me there quite a few times!)

As for the Ann Rice book question, we have a wonderful books forum here. (Although, there's no fireplace at the moment....but I understand they are working on it!)

Although re-reading it, it is more of a spirit question (my bad). I don't believe one can conjure up a spirit that can bring them things. As someone who has had spirit contact her whole life I can say with all honesty that I don't believe a spirit can actually do someone's bidding. Let's face it, if there were spirits that can bring us money, there would be no need for working or playing the lottery! (But hey, that's just me.)

You may still want to check out the books forum, they may have a discussion like this about the book you were talking about. :)

Well, I hope this helps. Again welcome! Look around and have fun!!! :D

Where would I find it in divination? I looked and didn't see anything, maybe I missed something.

And haven't looked in the book section yet, but I just might find my answer there, if they had been talking about the same book! Thanks and if you come up with anything else...let me know. :)

I've read parts of some of the Mayfair Witch series. I honestly don't think there is such a being as Lasher, at least I hope there isn't..lol :) Lasher got the witches the money and jewels and all that at the expense of others. I mean, for crying out loud, look what he did to Rowan and her baby in The Witching Hour! I certainly hope an entity couldn't actually do that!

As for the Ouija Board thing...I personally don't think you should play with one at all, alone or otherwise. You also say play as if it's some sort of game, though I could be reading into that too much. It's really not just a game as they would like you to think. I wish I knew what to tell you to make it go away, but i've somehow managed to keep away from most of the negative spirits around. Granted, i've ran into a few..but they've never attatched themselves to me. My sister had to do a lot of purification and meditating and things like that before the one that was attatched to her went away.

I hope this helps some.

P.S. Welcome to the Boards! :boing:

Oh no...I know it's not a game. I didn't mean play as in lets take out the monopley board, I meant it as using it. Hee, hee. :)

Oh and when I was talking about Lasher...LOL...I was using him as an example. Just a spirit that wouldn't mind bring things to me. But not steal it from anyone...like a peice of jewlery that someone had lost and he/she (the spirit) brought it to me. Something like that. But, I'd like the spirit more so for protection and/or advice. (The bring me things would be a bonus!) Maybe even things like stones and crystals that I could use in my workings. It wouldn't be taking from anyone if the spirit got it from the earth. Right?

And about the search...sorry I'm new at this stuff....I just go to the search at the top of this page and type in 'spirit guides' or 'man in dream' or....what? I guess I could just figure it out myself. :) But input would be easier!

Thanks for the advice so far!
