I fully support the use of irony in art, especially if the law makes an exception for art.


"I think it's ridiculous the authorities in Nuremberg are investigating a common garden gnome," he tells TIME. "They should be investigating the activities of neo-Nazis instead, and not art. It's absolutely clear that works of art are exempt from the law forbidding the display of Nazi symbols."

That being said, I've always KNOWN that Garden Gnomes were EVIL!!!

This is going to have an interesting outcome. I think that this could actually be good for debate and perhaps moving on but I also think they're making slightly too big of a deal about this. What about, you know, the real criminals running around, granted I guess garden gnomes are pretty threatening :weirdsmil
