For Me

I try my hardest not to ask for things for myself here. I try to believe what happens is the path the Goddess is wanting me to walk at this moment.

Right now though I feel like my life is a stained glass window and all my little pieces are falling perfectly into place and I dont want anything to ruin that so I could use some fingers crossed or positive thoughts.

I have applied for a student load. I really need this so I can buy a car to get to school in. Without this loan there would be no way I could get a car and the wonderful classes Im inrolled in I would have to drop.

My other one is I need a part time job. I have an interview tomorrow at a Starbucks inside a Target. The managers name is Mary. I really need this job.

I believe in my heart both of these will happen but Im so scared my carefully laid out plans could crumble. I know this has turned into a long ramble but thank you so much for reading.

Thank you all so much. Im a nervous wreck tonight. I should be sleeping and Im wide awake from nerves. I appreciate all the love and prayers more than I can possibly tell you all!! I will let you know how the interview goes as soon as I get home!

Well I think the interview went well. Mary was very nice and I liked her alot. She would be my manager and that would be cool, I think she would be a good one that would get along well with her employees. After her I interviewed with another manager and he was a bit more stiff but I think it still went well.

Mary told me before she left I should hear back from her tonight or tomorrow morning because she has to speak to her supervisor. So fingers crossed I will hear tonight (so I can sleep) that I got the job!!!

No news on the job interview tonight. But I did get an email on the student loan. Back in 2003 after Toria was born I enrolled in I think 3 classes. I ended up not taking them and not dropping because my newborn was very sick. So I got an email today saying I am on academic probation. I emailed my school counelor asking her what I needed to do. I can show proof of my current school success as well as valid proof of why I was unable to take the classes. So only time will tell on that. Not the best news but at least it wasnt a flat out rejection. I guess.

Well, so long as you do the valid proof thing, things shouldn't be totally messed up or anything. And, at least it's just academic probation. It could be worse. Just do your best and try not to worry much about it.

Thank you everyone so much! I didnt get a phone call today from the interview so Im going to be calling in the morning. I got an email back from my school councilor. I can apeal the academic probation but submitting my current school plans. I also plan on submitting my grades from my last school showing it was a one time incident as well as a report from Toria's Dr saying what was going on at that point and that it is now undercontrol. She said some people do get taken off academic probation for those kinds of reasons. Im hoping so cause without that loan I will have to drop my classes.

Thank you so much everyone. I went out to the school and the woman insisted I didnt need to file for an apeal at this time but would not explain anymore. She left me worried and really upset. So I emailed my councilor back and explained what happened. She asked a friend in financial aid to look me up and told me at this point all looks well. I turned in the paper they asked for and at this point I am not denied. So I guess all is well....LOL although Im still stressing.

As for the job I called this morning and Mary seemed suprised someone hadnt called me yesterday. Said I had to have available one closing night a week. So we talked about that and I told her if needed I could do Saturdays. She said ok she would talk to her manager when she came in at 12:30 and call me back. Well it is dinner time and no phone call LMAO. Im going to call her back in the morning.

I have huge fears about going back to school and wondering if I will succeed and the support from all of you means so very much!!
