what is an item you possess that although it may not have been marketed specifically as a pagan item, spoke to you on a spiritual level? For me, today i started browsing through the earring section from hsn.com on a whim, and came across winged earrings from Paula Abdul's jewlery line. When i saw them i immediately thought of Isis. I purchased them this morning in the goldtonehttp://jewelry.hsn.com/paula-abdul-fyg-inspirational-angel-wing-crystal-earrings_p-5585342_xp.aspx?webm_id=0&web_id=5585342&sf=j&dept=j00138&ocm=J|j00138&prev=hp!sf!dept&ccm=J|j00138 and when they arrive, i plan on wearing them in honor of her.

I had a stuffed goat that belonged to my son. It was my kid's toy, but I slept with it. Kind of like a Teddy bear, only a goat. It made me think of Pan a little, but as it was a toy its energy was more like Mr. Tumnus. I jokingly called it my "security goat". The kids started making up all kinds of games about Security Goat and his powers to keep people safe.
Alas, Security Goat perished in the fire. :(

I have a stuffed monkey, it was christmas gift when i was 14-15, I've kept it, because my mom used to tell me this joke about a monkey and how special the monkey was to his owner, and in turn how I'm special to my mom, no matter what. i love that thing.
funny, I just remembered that. lol.
he sleeps on my bed when it's made. :)

I have a small ornament - a sleeping tabby cat. It used to belong to my sister. It's always on my altar (when i have one).

while visiting the hamptons several years ago (wow...that sounds kinda snooty...trust me...i'm not) i came across a little bronze scale (themis). it has a rather primitive (i.e. simplistic design) looking woman holding up the crossbar for the plates. i got it because i thought it unusual (i'll try to get a decent picture of it and post it here). later, it just struck me as the embodiment of who i am (have i mentioned i'm a libra? <g>) and what i believe. it's now the centerpiece of my altar. oh...and i found a swan down feather, washed it with disinfectant and put it on one of the plates (ma'at...i know...not ostrich, but it's a small scale). i don't worship gods as divine beings. to me, this represents the natural order of all things which is divine.

About 20 years ago I was at a Medieval Festival in Oklahoma and one of the vendors had made several ... interesting ... works of art from the kind of foam that is used to seal houses - it goes under the siding. She would add colors to the foam, shape it into things, and let it dry. I was a street entertainer and did her a couple of favors as well as drawing some patrons to her booth (I really enjoyed her art work and the unusual medium she used).
As a gift she gave me an unsold crescent moon. It was about 3 feet high, colored sea-foam green, with lots of swirls and a face. Unfortunately it got broken about 6 years later. But who loves images of the moon more than I do? Very meaningful to me.

I have a little brooch in the shape of an owl. I got it on ebay for £1.00. I love it and when I'm not wearing it it lives on my bedroom altar.

I have a pendant necklace that I picked up in a jewelry store in Madison, WI that is in the shape of a circle, but looks more like a crescent moon with a moonstone at the point where the crescents would "meet." I wear it often, and its always had spiritual significance for me.

my bread/cakes are placed on a painted antique plate of my great grandmothers (passed)
my grandfather's hat from the military, elephant knick knacks from my uncle (both passed)
a wire tree from Michaels craft store that has 5 orange tealight holders in it acts as my samhain tree and i put skull candles around it
the water glass in west and the wine glass both from Good Will
and many others but those are what I just thought of :) I don't buy much that is marketed as a witchy item. Homemade things from friends or family pieces ... Good Will finds or nature finds... like the complete turtle shell that I came across while on an Earth Day cleanup... those roxors my boxors ;)

I have a dangly earring (yes, just one) with little silver hearts that I found in my study when we first moved into our house.
I also have a darling cheese knife with a handle shaped like a bunch of grapes. Makes a great athame for the kitchen altar.

That's really quite cool, for myself, I don't really have anything of personal significance, I have various pendants that I sometimes wear, but, more 'cause I just liked the look of them, that said, I have got one with my birthstone on it (I'm Leo so it's Sun stone, I think), which is significant for me, in a way anyway.

When I was first starting in this path and gathering tools, I was walking in the woods and this thin branch on the ground seemed to call to me. It was under an oak tree, I am hoping it is an oak branch - but it became my wand. At the tip, it looks like the start of a bud or a nub that is split in three. I have been using it as my wand since 1999.

when i went to sea world there was a beautiful short squat glass cup decorated with dolphins, sea shells and seaweed. it reminded me of Poseidon who i was just beginning to know. unfortunately it got destroyed and i haven't seen that particular cup since. :(
my little toy piglet, its a wild piglet not a domesticated one, and one of my totems is the wild pig.
a little dog from one of those vending machinesn with a chain around his neck and an old school gangsta hat, to represent dog totem.
a pokemon vulpix and a postcard of the nine tailed fox from naruto to represent the kitsune i work with.
