Alrighty- I'm sooo excited that its finally almost done. I have a few things to add-- I want a huge bean bag to sit and meditate on and more things to hang from the celing, etc, etc, etc.

Ok-- The room has 2 steps going down to get in it. Its not very big. only 5 foot wide and 10 foot long from back wall to bottom step.

One picture is standing in the doorway looking at the back wall. Shows most of the room. You can see a row of beads draped across the top of the picture-- it wraps all the way around 3 walls of the room- Its a string of prayer beads that Willow Rosette did for me at her Pagan Pride Day out in Cali. Prayer Beads were done for my daughter who was going in to remove a huge tumor from her brain last sept. Tons of people here on MW, and in Tulsa had loads of well wishes and energy that was greatly appriciated

One picture is of the altar- it's obivous, has my representations of the elements, my athame, chalice, my "send to the winds" pot that I don't think you can see it though- but its what I put any spilled herbs or wax chunks in. The altar is actually a small bookshelf with boards stained and attached to the top to make the altar- so i have storage and an altar in one. i keep candles and extra herbs and a box with all my stones and crystals, as well as empty oil jars and herb jars, pieces of parchment, pens and crayons/pencils of every color on the shelf as well. And measuring spoons and the hooks to hang the things from the celing, etc.

One picture shows the herb shelf--- have 30 some odd herb jars on it and theres more in baggies in a box under the altar.

You can see the many books- some are fluffy some are not- been collected from all over.

The big white trunk needs a paint job- it was a free find and its freaking huge. I keep all my seasonal and holiday altar decorations in that. I decorate part of the shelf above the altar for each season (yule, ostara, mabon, samhain, etc) I love it.

One picture is me standing in the back corner of the room facing the doorway-- there are different sun/moon/dragon/fairy mirrors hanging on both sides the wall that are hard to see- you can see my beloved prayer beads in that pic too :) You can also see on the shelf above the herbs where I keep all the oils- some i've made, and some bought.

anyway-- there it is-- I feel totally blessed to have found a house that allows me to have such a room. The back half our house is actually an add on and the room used to be a second pathway to the downstairs. There are 2 sets of stairs going downstairs and they are 10 feet apart so we put up a wall and made the little are a ritual room for me and we just use the other set of stairs. AND if I re sell my house- the ritual room is right off the dining room and kitchen so I can easily stage it as a walk in pantry!!! I love it!

Thanks for looking and I'd love any comments or compliments lol

I looooove the shelves-- I'm wanting to squeeze one or 2 more shelves in below the one herb shelf-- I have at least that many more herbs in baggies that I would looove to have in jars.

That is so impressively organized!

Thank you :) It took me forever to get everything situated--- just don't look in the trunk lmao-- its totally UN-organized.

Thank you all for your compliments-- if you have any suggestions to make it better I'd appriciate it :)

I was thinking that and I don't even do any rituals or cast spells etc as such lol

Great job, PandoraHealer - I think it looks good as it is. I don't really have any suggestions to improve on it. Thanks for sharing the photos. :)

Wow! I like that. It's nicely done. I wish I had room in my house and parents that wouldn't care for a ritual room. Have fun with your new room!

It's wonderful! I'd love to have a space like that. (Our house is small, small, small and we've run out of room!) And I admit to being envious of your organizational skills...

I am so greatfull you did this.Mine is next.Only I changed my mind.I want to build a Magus Tower from scratch.I love your rrom,I loce your books and they way you have everything organized. Can you detailed tell me what ingredients you have in those jars?I am soo curious...I would appreciate your suggestions..because I have consulated diffrent sources and I can't seem to make up my mind..
The jars cost 1$ from michaels or hobby lobby-- took me a long time of buying 2-3 a pay check to get that many lol. I have about 10 extras and I only buy more when I start running low. Every jar has a sticker on the bottom - where you can't see it (why have pretty jars if you're looking at a white sticker/lablel?! lol) The room has been in progress for nearly a year so don't think it happend over nite or got organized over nite lol-- I moved stuff around constantly-- the books are organized though- astrology/numerology/etc on one section- family stuff like circle round, raising witches, etc in one section, etc, etc, etc.
I'll give you an herb list of what is in the jars- I won't include the others I have in the baggies:
anise star, hawthorn berries, tonka beans, corn silk, juniper berries, sea salt, psyllium root, marshmallow root, poppy seed, black cohosh root, trillium, solomons seal, lovage root, sassafrass root, valerian root, hops flowers, rose petals & buds, hibiscus flowers, bee polen, jasmine flower, lavendar, crystal menthol, mhyrr gum, resin, and granules, kelp, irish moss, lemon grass, eucalyptus, passion flower, mugwort, white sage, shark teeth, red sandalwood chips, slippery elm, barberry bark, orris root powder, licorice root powder, frankencinse, lovage root powder, red henna powder.... those are only the ones on the shelf--- minus one that i just got and I can't find the label to. I have about 15 more in bags in a box under the altar--- I have jars for them too but no shelf room!! lol -- ***attached are some better pics of the herb shelf*** (my b/f says holy crap it takes 3 pictures to get them all lmao) The herbs are sort-of organized-- seeds/beans/berries are in one area, flower buds/petals/roots/etc are in the middle, resins and gums also in the middle, barks/wood chips/etc at the end and powders at the very end. --pics show it better :)

It's wonderful! I'd love to have a space like that. (Our house is small, small, small and we've run out of room!) And I admit to being envious of your organizational skills...

just remember it didn't get organized over nite--- and don't look in the office b/c its a damn mess lol (can ya tell whats important in my life? office v.s. rituals... hmmm... lol) I started my collection in a small cabinet... moved into a bigger house and used a closet... moved into this house and got a tiny room... little does my b/f know if we move again- I want a whole bedroom lmao. If you have a closet in your house that just got clutter in it-- clean it out-- its been full of clutter so you don't need the storage- make that a place to keep your supplies-- thats what I did before I bought the house I'm in now. (or maybe the bottom of the closet if you really do need storage lol)

Well Done!!

I would love a Witchy "Martha" tv show.. where you get to see cool ideas like this, fresh ideas on Ritual Rooms. and alters and clever ideas on how to dry herbs and such.. I mean we have it here, but I would like to kick back and watch it on TV and ooh and ahh over all the great stuff

Oh my Goddess! Epic ritual room is epic! Nice hip scarf by the way. Totally cute all hung up there and stuff. I need to build me some shelves and get me some jars for all my herbs. There's so many the bottom drawer of my bedside table has been taken over and I sooo need to organize.

Oh, and Glowy. There kinda is one like that on YouTube. Just search for CharmingPixieFlora. She's already posted a ton of stuff and she and her sons are so adorable. (She's totally YouTube's "YAY!" queen). She has so many good ideas it's *crazy*.

That is so amazing! I have wanted a witchy room since I first started. I keep my altar in our walk in closet but sadly I cannot use the whole thing for that :(
