Hey Yay! Welcome back :D It's good to know I'm not alone. I took a break from working on my final project for my MA degree and I logged on and no one was here. I was worried. :shaker:

Greta we had the most fantastic time! I can never thank my sis-in-law enough for giving me the trip! It was just too wonderful! Sis-in-law and Mama-in-law flew down with me. At first Sis was just gonna fly down, get me on the shuttle and fly back....kinda hold my hand so to speak. (Small town girl hits the big city....very good chance of getting lost - type deal:lol:) Then when Mama-in-law found out she wanted to come too. They both love New Orleans. Hubby and I really didn't mind, as we still had the second night alone. Sis and Mama-in-law are loads of fun. We went to the Voo-Doo shop across from Patty-O's where S-I-L got a reading then we went to Esotericas - they're favorite "witch" shop. Then back to Patty-O's to eat, visited the piano bar and had loads of fun. Stopped by some other place where S-I-L knew the entertainer from previous trips. Walked and looked at shops, etc. They had to meet the shuttle to the plane at 4:30 AM so we were back in the room at 2 AM. Much to S-I-L's dislike. But the two of them had to work the next day.
Hubby had meetings the next day till 1 PM - then we hit the town. (Course we stayed in the room for a while;) .) Ate at the Irish bar and walked and looked at everything. Back to the room! (ahem). Then got ready for the evening. The shops were incredible! We ate ate Jack Whites - on the balcony and enjoyed the view - and the food. Then a private buggy ride - that was absoulutely wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised that the driver was a tour guide - more or less - and not just a driver. He's accent just added to the tour. We were very impressed. Oh, I just cant' explain what a wonderful time we had.
Up early the next morning and back on the street. Everything is totally different in the morning sunlight. Oh, I got a reading done on Jackson Square. Loved that. When I was done two women who had never had anything like that asked me all kinds of questions. I thought that in itself was neat.
I cant' thank S-I-L enough for sending me down there. She is wonderful. Not just for the trip, she's just a wonderful person.

I'm here now... was at a wedding. It was very nice and funny too. The groomsmen did a medley from Grease. It was great...
Now if they go to New Orleans it sounds as if they would have a great honeymoon... :)

I'm back now. Spent two fun filled hours in the dentist chair this morning. Face didn't defrost until 3pm. I was starving by then! Ugh!
