I was wondering if someone would be willing to do a past-lives reading for me. I'm interested in exploring my previous incarnations and wonder what the tarot has to tell me. :) I will gladly reciprocate with an Aleph-Bet reading for whatever situation/question you have.

I'd love to have a go, but could you please tell what is involved in a past-life reading as I've never heard of this before!

Actually, I, myself am quite unsure. I've heard of readings to discover past lives, but I have no idea how such a reading is performed...hence my request. ;)

I found some past life spreads on the interned but haven't tried them yet. I'd like to try them out on myself first and then I'll see if I can read for others.

But from what I read it seems that it would be helpful if you specified what do you want to know about you past life. Like if you knew some person in a previous life and what your relationship was, how your past life influences your current one and so on.

Blessed Be

You were a man in the life that is being read. You live somewhere near water. You were the first born of two children. You had a brother. You were born into a family of sailors/traders who was very successful at their trade. Because of this you traveled often and were able to see much of the known world. You had a deep love connection with another in that lifetime, however it ended in tragedy. You were falsely accused of killing your wife. But, you were able to prove your innocence. After the death of your wife, you began to study religion and mysticism, but still felt something missing. You wed a second woman who was much younger than you. This woman gave birth to eight children with you, however she died during the last childbirth. You were a firm but fair father. You spent the remainder of your life in sadness due to the tragedy that you had experienced with your two wives. You died a natural death. The lesson that you have to learn from that life is to cherish the gifts that you have while you have them and to let them go when you don't. Do not dwell on the past but look to the brightness of tomorrow.

I have two small questions.

1) Do you have any idea as to where I may have lived in this past life? Country/continent/region?
2) Do you know what type of religion or mysticism I may have studied?

Your reading was very...accurate. It explained some current situations in my life and my lifelong love of water. ;) hehe. Thank you SO MUCH.

For your reciprocal reading, do you wish to post your question here or in PM?

As to what region you lived in, I would say it was probably a European area, possibly Greece or Italy. As for the religion/mysticism that you studied, I would say a little bit of everything. As a sailor/trader you would have traveled everywhere and been exposed to many cultures and belief systems and had the opportunity to study them all.

I don't have any specific questions for a reading, perhaps just a general one you could post on the board.

What kind of info about me would you need to do this reading?

For Aoibheann:

I did a general reading, as you requested. For this reading, I did a draw of seven. This just basically speaks of your present and gives you a glimpse into the best choices for the future.

The first card is Heh. Heh is the window of new things, but is prone to jealousy entering it. It's represented by the colour light blue, known in Qabbalah for representing the evil eye in dreams. Its number is five. Five is not an exceptionally important number, but it does symbolize a completeness in creation by showing the five elements and spirit. The second card is Nun. Nun is the card of establishment and imagination. It's a well-grounded and powerful card tied to Mars. The third card is Ayin. This card is especially powerful in this drawing because of the previous two cards which support and power anything after them! Ayin is the card of spiritual sight and energies. It likes to renovate things and create the most "magickally-efficient" atmosphere it can. However, it is hard to access directly and is shrouded in mystery. Together, these three cards tell me that you are currently experiencing a "surge" of spiritual creativity. You feel more connected to the Divine than you have in quite a while, and ideas seem to be flowing out of you. This is ESPECIALLY prevalent because Mars is showing itself to us very nicely in the night time skies, and Mars is represented in both Heh and Nun. (Saturn is also showing itself right now and is represented by Ayin, but it is often associated with negativity, so we will downplay it's role. ;)) Next, I drew Resh. Resh shows new beginnings and starting at the base of everything. Air, a renovating and free-thinking element is shown here. It speaks to me that you will have some opportunities in the near future to use your creativity for the advancement of others. Fifth is Beth. Beth is the house. What does this mean? This means that right now, the previous four cards are housed in YOU! Another air card, it is encloses things but still allows them to be seen by the outside world. People are definitely noticing the change in you! Sixth is Gimel. Six is an important position because it represents things that have started, but are not yet complete and can still be changed. Gimel is, ironically, the number 3, which is a number of well-founded beginnings. It is very much tied to the moon and moon-related items. If you have done any lunar magick recently, make sure not to forget it! If you keep putting your energy towards it, it will work for you. ^.^ Lastly is the card Aleph. It's the start of everything. What does this tell me? It tells me that the previous six cards are only a beginning of a new chapter in your life. Look for many doors opening and good things coming your way. You are being well-rewarded for your kindness by karma. The number for this reading is six. Unlike what some people may believe, six is not an evil number! In this case, it tells us two things. One, it refers back to Gimel and tells you to keep up whatever you've been concentrating on recently, and don't stop! Second, it is represented by the card Vav. Vav is the card of triumph! You are going to experience, and are experiencing, victory in your life right now. Hold on tight and it will be well tied to you!

I hope this reading helps. If you have any questions, just let me know! :)
