It's not just the desert - I remember one autumn here in Kansas that was like that. I saw a couple of country roads that were completely blocked by tumbleweeds caught between the trees on each side of the road.

The tumbleweeds in the video are small compared to the kind we used to see here in Kansas. Haven't seen so many lately, maybe they've been eradicated around here. I know they make farming very difficult - they are basically a weed. The ones here came from a plant called Russian thistle that came over with the Russian Red wheat with the early pioneers.

Actually, a man made desert. Too much development for the water supply. We seem to be creating that problem for ourselves and deserve what we get.

actually not to cause any trouble but much of Utah has always been a desert, it was alot worse in the olden days.
But I do agree about the too much development thing:uhhuhuh:
