Saturday and Sunday were the 40th anniversary of the murders committed by the Manson family. CNN had this article http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/08/10/california.manson.murders/index.html#cnnSTCOther1
They include music inspired by Charlie Manson, if you go to the far bottom left where it says Manson Mystique, you will see some friends of mine, their band (the Jackalopes) did a song Cielo 69...because of it they are in a CNN article next to Slash and Marilyn Manson.

:hahugh:I am sure they are very pleased for the recognition. ( It was way too fast and heavy for me to understand a word of it)
I did not really know how many artists wrote music about the killings.
Charles Manson is one creepy dude.. When they show interviews of him, and he looks at the camera, it is like you can see the madness and hate.

no wonder he is getting so much coverage. Personally, I think he enjoys it, and should be allowed to fade in to obscurity while he is being closely watched. We have enough depraved crime going on without celebrating him.

They were thrilled, for this to happen the same night as their last reunion show was awesome. To go along with the anniversary they offered up a free shirt and CD for anyone who would cut an X in their forehead during the show

The words :
To Cut = 11
X = 400
In = 190
Forehead = 440
+
Mgieck Ritual = 454
= 1495
The sum of Obri , or Runic comparison , 22 symbols...
Manson was a member of the Los Angeles O.T.O , long
before he went over the deep end...he knew the code...
And used it for his purposes...

Happy anniversary! Manson and murder always made such a sweet couple. I'm glad that they're still in love after all these years.

This made me laugh out loud while others downstairs are sleeping.
