Unfortunately sometimes accidents happen. At least you had the thought to take the kitty to the vet, so many just leave it. :(

Oh, you poor thing! Don't stay away, though, we'll help you through it! My heart aches with you.

I live in the country and have to be ever so vigilent while driving b/c deer, bunnies, raccoons, possums, pheasants, and yes, cats all have a tendency to jump out at you. Just yesterday three different rabbits ran in the road in front of me. I missed all of them thank the Goddess! One was a near miss, and I had to pull over b/c I was so shook up that I *might* have hit him. :(

I can sympathize with you dear Sephiroth!

:( 8O :(

Oh Sephiroth, I am SO SO sorry to hear about this. We definitely sympathize with you - this is a very sad event. If we can do anything to help you with the grieving process, just let us know.

You are so good and honourable to have taken the kitty to the kitty hospital. What was said earlier is right; so many people would have just kept on going and left the poor dear right there.

You did all you could, and you did the right thing. I wish I could give you a big HUG right now, but we'll have to be satisfied with a cyber hug:

***H***U***G*** :)

You and the little kitty will be in my thoughts today. Hang in there; we're all here for you.

*hug* Oh hon, it is ok. At least you took the animal for care. I am postive that the goddess/god will forgive you an accident and sometimes they place such tests to us for their own divine reasons.

sephiroth, you did not hit that kitten on purpose, the powers that be know that. and you did what was right, trying to make amends. how many others would not even have stopped. grieve for the little thing, that's proper and right but do not let grief for anything, even a kitten become your master. a suggestion, if your circumstances allow adopt a kitten from the shelter, saving it from being "put to sleep" as unwanted. or if that isn't possible then perhaps a donation to the shelter to feed a cat for a few more days to give it a chance to be adopted. the kitten's ghost would, i think, approve.

I THINK THAT'S A WONDERFUL IDEA gunner!!!! give back a little in memory of the kitty!! If you don't have a lot of cash and can't take one home..there are usually some shelters that love to have volunteers!!! My husand and I used to volunteer at one with my mother-in-law and we loved every minute of it....we even ended up taking one home:) Places like that always need help....even just a little helps....(btw the shelter we volunteered at was wonderful.....they never put animals asleep....they kept them there until they found a home!!! It was such a wonderful place to be!!!) :D
