Just what we need, Pitt in Politics. I agree with his platform, but if he is the rep for it.. there it goes. He should stick to making movies and babies.

I know we all like to get our points across, but posting it three times is a little excessive don't you think? :giggle:

 I knew you were going to say that. But more to the point, who cares what he thinks? Why do we think celebrities are automatically subject matter experts on things completely unrelated to their careers?

I do not know - perhaps because their fans encourage them?

From what I understand, people in New Orleans made T-shirts saying 'Brad for mayor' or 'Pitt for mayor' because he helps out so much. So since all these people were making these T-shirts, someone asked him if he's considering it at all.

Meh, he's entitled to his opinion, but I don't think it's any more important than the average voter.

Pitt is welcome to his opinion whatever it may be. He is also welcome to use the media to get that opinion across. There is no point in saying "who asked him"..I mean other than the reporter. Like everyone else he gets to say whatever he wants and I have no issue with it.

Well, some of the people of New Orleans wants him for mayor, made a bunch of T-Shirts. So I'm guessing they care what he thinks. And naturally he's going to be asked about it now that people WANT him to run. I think he's dodging the whole thing quite well. He's actually not wanting to talk about it.
By the way... wasn't one of the presidents of the USA an actor before he went into politics?
