Where can I learn more about this branch of abrahamic faith? I know its a mix of Judaism, Christianity, Islam and a taste of Zoroastrianism, but where can I learn more about it itself?

Here are some good links on Yezidism:
http://www.yeziditruth.org/ - definitely a great site, IMO.
http://www.yezidism.com/

Melek Ta'us (http://mysticwicks.com/showthread.php?t=174786&highlight=Yezidis) - a thread here on MW, there used to be a Yezidi, or someone who, at least, worshipped in the Yezidi way (but, wasn't born into a Yezidi family), called The Amityville Ghost on MW, he was the one who started that thread, he, unfortunately, hasn't been around since January 21st 2008, so, I hope he's ok, he'd definitely be able to help you.
Also, I think you're already aware of it, but, make sure you check out the thread in the Gods and Goddesses forum about 'The Blue God', that has info on Melek Ta'us.
Hope this helps :).

No problem, I'm glad I could help, Yezidism is very, very fascinating religion, and, the practicioners of it are in danger now, from terrorists coming into Iraq (a lot of the terrorists in Iraq are of non-Iraqi origin), and other factors, so, I think more people should learn about them, and, hopefully, try to help and support them.
