New rune question

Ok did a reading for myself to see what would happen. . . .
Question I asked. . .
How will things between me and my friend Nick work out?

The past rune was JARA

The present Rune was Daega

and the future rune was Ing

I intrepretted this way. That I need to try and recognize patterns from my past to find the balance in the present, so that I can have a new beginning?

Is this even remotely close?????

It was my first reading so I wanted to ask.

:D I'd say you're right on the money! I'd add that in addition to recognizing and learning from past patterns and mistakes, you also might want to take a look at whether your goals are realistic and whether you are trying to force things along or control them. Do you have a pattern of doing that in the past? If you use your energies in accordance with natural law and go with the flow and cycle of things rather than trying to force them in the direction that you wish them to go, you can achieve what you want.

Keep practicing! The more you read, the easier it becomes.

Very well done, FlamedLilly... I should have done so well my first reading... :D

I would add...

PAST: Jera (not quibbling over names, just using what I'm more familiar with :) )... a time Rune (year)... OK, you don't have to answer this, but what comes to mind here is... how long since you're last relationship? Has enough time passed so that you're completely over it? Are there feelings from it that you haven't put behind you yet?

PRESENT: Dagaz... another time Rune (day)... also a solar Rune... things could move too fast here, if you let them, & a natural result of speed is heat... you are wise to be looking for the balance here, else someone could end up getting burned. It would seem the impulse here is to rush, but take it slower. Let this relationship develop into whatever it's going to become, don't try to mold it into what you may want.

FUTURE: Ingaz... the Rune of the Earth God, Frey, the king of the Vanir, the Earth Gods/desses who are the keepers of the earth's treasures... this is finding your personal treasure, & in abundance, at that...

This reading has a very positive feel to me. The only caution I see here is about patience (& patience sucks when you're waiting for the right one to come along 8O ).
