Thank You all a lot for your warm welcome. I founded this site after lot of searches on the internet, trying to find what fits best for my belifs. I had a serious accident long time ago and in order to regain my morale I first started with different kinds of Yoga. Then I tried the so called crystalline way for a long time but I never stop looking. Finally I'm here, trying to learn as much as I can about the pagan way. As I read somewhere: "if you are meant to be Wiccan, you will seek us." (it was on a wiccan page).
I start reading, most of the information comming from the net, I didn't find pagans books in the libraries here. I try to filters the different aproaches found on these articles but I'm still at the very beginning.
Is there any very specific informations I have to start with?
The crystalline way offers methods of approach for each goal (meditation, concentration visuasisation, etc.) Are they such ways here or you can use your own technique?
Enough questions for one mail. Still I have lots of others, but I have to waituntil the next one.
Thank You.
Cosmin

honestly... I'd just look and do research into every kind of belief that you could possibly think of.
It's only after about a year of doing my own research that I'm starting to lean towards something that is very me.
You won't find something straight away as there are so many to look at and everyone has their own beliefs.

Read, read whatever you can get your hands on, there are some fantastic resources out there, and don't cost a thing. Do some searches here on MW as well. You will always be changing your path, as you will alwyas be learning. :)

First, welcome to our forum. We are blessed to have you :)

The people here at MysticWicks (MW) include many Pagans including Shamans, Druids, and mostly Wiccans, as well as a few non Pagans. Each of these paths has it's own set of ethics, morals, principles, and beliefs.

Have you decided on a specific path or are you just looking around? For instance, many people when they first come to Paganism are introduced to Wicca. There is no need to choose a specific path, however it helps you to focus your learning - for instance, you might say ok I want to learn about Wicca, Druidry, and Shamanism, one after the other, then focus your studies on each at a time, before picking one.

There are no rules to finding your way or starting out, but it is a good idea to do as much research as possible. You will read that Paganism takes work, and this is true - it is a lifetime of studying, learning, growing, and considering your beliefs, however if it is the way for you it won't be tedious. Any path in Paganism is an ongoing learning experience, though you don't have to stay in Paganism if it doesn't feel right. Just remember, you have a lifetime to learn and grow, and this is just one way to do it :)

Since you know about meditation and visualization, you've got a head start. These two techniques are fundamental to magical practicde that are often part of Paganism. You can use these techniques in rituals and spells if you choose, or just to connect with the Gods.

Here at MW we have many forums to help you out, and many people who will answer your questions. Please feel free to keep asking! We like helping out. There are a few threads stuck in this forum (that is, they're at the top of the threads page with the word STUCK at the beginning) that are especially useful to newer folks. In our Books forum we have stuck threads about recommended books you can read. I believe there's also a stuck thread in Pagan Geek with links for you to visit. You can learn more about Druids in our Druid forum, and about rituals and spells in Magick & Rituals. You can explore history and myth in History, and discuss Pagan philosophies in Theology & Philosophy.

We have a wealth of information here you are welcome to, and would be more then happy to answer any questions you have.
