Ohhhh.....

mIRC is an Internet Relay Client. Don't ask what the 'm' stands for. There's a whole bunch of other ones too like pIRCh. I normally use mIRC to chat, but on a different server to what MW is hosted on. When I tried to connect to EFnet for MW, all I got was:

*** Connecting to irc.powersurfr.com (6667)
-
*** Unable to connect (Connection timed out)
-
*** Connect retry #1 irc2.magic.ca (6667)
-
*** Unable to connect (Connection timed out)
-
*** Connect retry #2 irc.etsmtl.ca (6667)

*** Cancelled connect

and I didn't try the java one cause I can't stand it. Oh well... try another day I guess.

VB.....for the DW one, do you use mIRC or Java?

(psst.......there's a how-to to get into the chat stuck at the top of this forum..... :bug: I use it a lot)
