Employees at a Cambridge Starbucks helped hide a woman Friday afternoon to help her escape a kidnapping duo that held her prisoner in a North Shore hotel for almost a week.
Guy Waters and his girlfriend Niki Semnack allegedly held the 24-year-old Fall River woman captive in a Saugus hotel room for five days before driving her to Cambridge in a rented gray 2007 Chrysler Sebring Friday, according to sources.
The woman was able to escape the car in a Memorial Drive parking lot Sept. 19 at about 4:30 p.m. and walked into a nearby Starbucks at 750 Memorial Drive (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=750+Memorial+Drive,+cambridge,+ma&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=61.928102,113.203125&ie=UTF8&ll=42.358623,-71.115146&spn=0.007183,0.013819&z=16&iwloc=addr), where employees hid her behind a counter when Waters came into the shop looking for her, according to sources.
