Anyone get these, when you're sure the cards just burped, or didn't feel like dealing with you anymore?
I was doing a reading for myself, and most of it was pretty straightforward, lots of change, finding my own path, crap like that. Then I pulled Death inverted (resistance to change) and decided to explore that a bit. I try to find out what will happen both with and without this resistance, and it seems that the resistance will bring better things (nine of cups) than just flowing with it (the world inverted). But it made me think. What do you do when this happens? What do you guys think it means, both the spread I got, and in general when the cards make absolutely no sense?

Usually when I get craziness like that I either change decks, consult the Runes, or give up a wait a few days.

All things n their own time. I don't think that we are meant to know all. Some things are better left unknown.

Would life be that great if you knew everything that was going to happen and how it would all go?? It'd be pretty boring. ;)

I just stop the detailed exploring, give the cards and myself a break for a week....sometimes longer. Enough time has to elapse to bring about changes.

Sometimes when I get a card that doesn't seem to fit or makes any sense, I find that it's because I'm trying to make it fit into the reading. I think my mind has already decided which path the reading will go & I'm not open enough to see the meaning of this particular card. I usually leave it & mull on it for a few days & see what insights pop up.

Not exactly off subject here, but I don't use reversed cards. Sometimes when a card sticks out as 'not fitting in' I try to see if the card was reversed if that makes better sense.

I tried not using the reversed meanings, but I think this particular deck likes doing so...Some of the stuff makes infinitely more sense taken that way.
