Ah, okay. I decided to finally post some things about myself, instead of randomly posting things and leaving everyone mysteriously clueless about me. So here I go, and hope everyone gets a little understanding what I'm doing here. =)
I'm an 19-year old, college girl who is an English major. That's all for my education so far. College stresses me out more than anything, being that I'm in my first semester. I've been home for the past week and I get to come back for a month in two weeks! But college has been the best thing to happen to me, and I'll explain why in a second.
As for my religious track, I've gone through several faiths and I'm still developing what I believe in. I was once a devout Wiccan, but I think I ran into things too fast. Certain practices didn't work for me - I was big on Tarot Cards, regular meditation and candle magick - and I returned to Christianity through the faith of Jehovah's Witnesses. And for a while, it sat right, but like everything else in the past, certain things didn't. Many Christian faiths damn people for being what they are, like homosexuals, and they also damn anyone who is not apart of said-faith. I cannot, in good conscience, do that to anyone and I cannot think that *any* deity would do so as well. So why am I looking back in the Wicca? Because I realized that there was so much I *didn't* know, and now, I'm devouting my time to learn all I can, and making sure everything fits. So I read here daily, usually over in New Pagans, trying to develop what I've learned.
Okay, so what about me? I'm a proud writer - I've been writing fiction since I was about eight years old and I'm a 3rd way done my first real novel. =) Writing is my life, always has been. Next comes music, as I'm a pianist. And being the absolute loser that I am, most of the pieces that I teach myself come from video games I've played. I'm an avid role-player and gamer, too, when I frankly have nothing better to do with my time. And lastly! Well, hardly lastly, but I thought I'd save the best for last: I have a wonderful boyfriend. We've been best friends ever since I was fourteen or so, and in the past few months, it's turned into something I could have never dreamed. Damn kid stole my heart. =)
