Nope, the website screwed up...

it said born year of the Rat. That is wrong. The Chinese new year is not the same as are new year... usually a bit later, say feb. 5th. Because I was born in Jan, it was still the year of the Boar (pig) when I was born. Double check the actual date of the Chinense new year if you were born early, like me.

Hm I was wondering if someone else would say that. The Chinese new year traditionally ended on the first new moon of the following year, not January 1st.
