I was lucky enough not to be caught in the one that hit Ontario and Quebec a few years ago, but have many friends that did live through it, and it wasn't fun.

Thanks so much. I just heard on the news that my county has been declared a disaster area, but we've escaped the power outages and such. I had planned to stay at Flar's tonight but I have to be at work in the morning so decided to leave this afternoon. The roads were pretty treacherous but I made it safely.

We (north NJ) shouldn't get it too bad, only 2-4 inches is being predicted. But I have heard south of us is supposed to get blasted.
