I'm sorta new to astrology (other than reading my horoscope;)). What are some good websites and books for a beginner?

Ambivilent Mirage, I would recommed the A to Z Horoscope maker and delineator, by Llewllyn publications Although it is a traditional text, it does have many excellent chapters of study. It is a large book containing about 600 pages. I found a revised and expaned version of it in a used book store. If you have any questions about astrology, especially after you have read a a portion of your text, you can post them here or a new site that I am participating in called Zodiacal.com

What do you think about "The Only Astrology Book You'll Ever Need"? I picked it up on a bargain table for $3.99 and haven't had much time to get into it. I'm also a beginner. I did learn a bit from Llewellyn's 2002 Moon Signs Guide also and plan to buy another this year.

I have both the Sun Sign and Moon Sign Books. I love them both.
I had the 2002 copies and had to get the 2003 copies also.

But as for astrology and doing my own chart, I am clueless. All I know is that I am an Aries. Can't even figure out what my Ascendant is seeing as how I don't know what time I was born. I'll ask good ole Mom when she gets back from vacation. And since I was born in Germany. That makes things even more difficult.

AmbivilantMirage,
I hope you can understand it better than I have. It all leaves me hazey eyed and confused.:(
Good Luck to you.
