IM exited, yet nervous at the same time,

this has been my dream for years now...and now, it looks like it just may be happening .. and now I know what people mean when they say, "when the Goddess decides it is time, you better be ready because it will happen realy fast"

Xanderspace Productions is a reality (my web design company) I have left my job and am going at it full time...

and now today, I am going up to CT to look at a possible location for the first of 3 cafe's I want to open.

the second one will be on south st in Philadelphia, and the third in the village in NYC...

from there, the focus would be on Xander Acadamy, my web design school :)...

this Board has been a magical part of my life, and I wanted to share a bit about this with you all.

this is a deffinate, cause for Cake :D no? :boing:

Very neat deal Xander.... Where are we to come to visit this spot of home away form home? And when and how did all this happen?
...and The Cake is over in the party room as soon as every one wakes up in the Cloud and the Tree...

What parts of CT are you visiting, Xander? I'd look at Danbury. Very close to NYC, (about an hour away), and lots of great spots for cafe's. A bit on the pricey side. but buisnesses have been popping up all over the place down there. Good luck!

THank you all,

Danus, Actually there is a great spot in the Greenwich area, and it is about 30 mins drive from the Geo wash bridge...

it is a very quiet location, very beautiful, and the road it sits on is heavily traveled, people would drive right by my place to get to the buisness district :boing:

Im not looking for a huge franchise,

Starbucks is nice and all that, but that is not what im looking for, if my name is going to be on something, I want my customers to feel welcome,

Illinois eh? :)

A special thank you to my good friend Storm Chaser for going with me to look at the place.... we had a fun adventure, I must admit, I never had soo much fun getting lost in all my life,

and word of advice, dont ask the locals for directions, they will only get you more lost....

"ya go up to the library, then around the doohicky and then you come to the rotary, then make a left at that st,,,,"

no one knows the names of the streets, they only travel on them every day

yea.. and if you go.. at least have someone there who knows the local terms. And DEFINITELY watch out for those doohickeys, wachamacallits and all the libraries.

oh yea.. and when you're reaching your last nerve, "Which of you brats can tell me..." seems to work well for making roads you want to find magically appear in front of you.
hehe

hehe.

You are most welcome Xander, twas fun!
