A few more questions that have developed from me reading so much lately...
1) Those of you who remember me from a few posts ago, i posted about me being drawn towards ireland.. now it has gone to another extreme.. its this one scene/picture that i keep seeing on books, school, and all around! I go to a bookstore looking at runes, and then the front of this book has this same picture... When i see it each time i feel so energized to just go there, and it feels complete inside me thinking about living and going there... wierd..
2) Im going to las vegas for christmas, to visit my grandparents w ho are very religious. At home i do not receive comunion although i do have to go to church my parents believe. But my grandparents i really truly do not think i want to tell them about paganism, and shamanism, because their generation is incredibly religion, and then i would get a speech every day on why this is a bad religion, and it would totally give them a biased oppionion on me.. which i don't want. What should i do when everyone is receiving the host, should i recieve it, to respect them, but not really wanting to recieve it and not letting it have a meaning; as to not disrespect or betray my pagan and shamanistical deities, animals, and otherworld beings...

hehe ok, what's the question?

Well, what I would do is receive it, and act respectfully in church, all the while thinking of my own Gods. I really don't think any deities, spirits, etc. will have a problem with that, and you respecting your family and their celebrations, at all.

Sounds like you are receiving more energetic support for your desire to go to Ireland :)
I agree that participating isn't going to betray your deities or cause any sort of evil to befall you. Many of the families I work with are Christian (I supervise visits and am sort of a professional babysitter). I'm frequently there when they say prayers and blessings and I just act as if I'm going along while silently praying to my own deities and none of them have ever been the wiser. There's no sense in creating unnecessary conflict within your family, and by acting in a manner that respects all paths you present yourself very positively as a pagan, which can eventually bring openness and acceptance to the whole situation.

I'm not sure, but the scene in this picture, may be the Paps of Danu...Da Chich Anann.....in County Kerry, Munster, Ireland.

Ah yes i did some research myself and you are very correct. They are the Da Chich Anann, or the " Paps of Anu or Danu", and are located in County Kerry and are known as the breasts of Danu.. thank you for helping me figure this out, i never realized that it was actually connected to the pagan religion, i seriously just thought it was a picture of two beautiful mountains with the perfect setting... i may have a message from a deity of some sort, maybe danu.. ill try another meditation on it.. thanks to all who helped me figure it out
Wow thats pretty interesting that it actually has a symbolic meaning, hmmmm it pieces a few things together, rather than just some random calling

Are you allowed to settle on the areas around there? Or is it a huge piece of farmland already owned by somebody?

I would say that most of the area is settled :) Ireland isn't exactly "Wild Pioneer Land" :) I would do some research on County Kerry, to find more information. It's a very popular tourist area, because of it's beauty, and there may be cottages and the like to rent.
Most farmland in Ireland, has been owned by families for generations. So..I don't think actually buying property would be that easy...
However, there are alot of adorable little towns in that area. And beautiful B & B's.
I would suggest visiting, and getting to know the area, and its people.
