I'm up in Tacoma, Washington and we had the most glorious storm today. The rain was pounding and the wind was gusting. It was cold too. I just love the power that a good late autumn/early winter storm brings. The rain was blowing sideways most of the day but then all of a sudden it would be clear. I loved it!

Here in Kenai, Alaska we have alot of precipitation as well. Right now it can't make up it's mind yet to rain or snow, so it's doing a little of each every day. I love cold weather too. :)

Jade, I live about an hour outside of San Francisco. Dorothy's house blew by you, too?? We just had a sick maple tree taken down last week. The trunk was so rotten that it wouldn't have stayed standing through the wind. Then we saw on the local news that somebody a couple of miles away had a huge tree come crashing through their roof. That could've been us. :blushake:

Yes it is pretty scary:eek: There are HUGE trees all around my house so I'm always concerned...even when driving. One time while I was commin' up the hill from feeding the horses...during a wind storm...a large branch flew down and hit me in the face....OUCH!!!!

Part of Dorothy's house reached us in Phoenix... got cold and lots of rain. Which we really need... woo hoo. Not the cold tho...I was worried that I would lose all my oranges from the tree but didn't. Thank goodness, they are exactly just right and part of my holiday gifts. I has ice on my car windows the last few mornings. Ick. Thankies for the lovely picture Jade... :)
