Does this look like mid-December to you??

Now, imagine this, but with Christmas decorations... kinda seems like the phoney "Christmas in July" thing the stores to for a big sale, doesn't it??
I can't wait to get home and feel the REAL Christmas spirit. There's just something totally wrong about Christmas music playing on the radio when its 80 degrees outside......

Looks like you teleported yourself to a Queensland beach...
That's the kind of Christmas I'm used to unfortunately... :: sigh ::
Just once, I'd like to have what I've always called a 'proper' Christmas. Middle of winter with a good chance of snow.

*chuckles* For our Southern hemisphere buddies, it's normal, I suppose.... But for the fellow BC-er.... I just have to say.... OMG! It's just not the same without snow, is it?

It would be hard to get used to - without snow!
But it would be an interesting experience.

It just feels completely wrong, and fake. I didn't even realize that Christmas was coming soon, because my mind still associates the weather with summer. People started asking what I wanted for Christmas, and I hadn't even considered thinking about it yet :).
I want to breathe in clean cold air, and see my breath when I breathe out :) I want to see christmas lights twinkle of the snow... I want to hear the crunch of snow under my feet. And all this is coming from a person who really doesn't like snow! :) It's amazing what the holidays can bring out in a person. (But I still firmly believe that it should snow Christmas eve, and then be gone New Years day.)

Rubi, I am with you on this one.

It is allowed to snow, only on Christmas Eve, no more more than two inches, and it must all be gone within 24 hours. And that is because I COMMAND it!

*sigh* so much for dreams. It has been one of the rottenest November/December's that I can remember here. We are averaging high's of 30* lows of 10*, snow and ice allover the place. YUCK! And it is not even officially Winter. :(

But..on the other hand, if I had to live where it was warm all year round, it might seem weird. I'd be happier in shorts but it would be weird.

A-R- I'd love to send you some of the snow and ice and wind!

Seems fine to me...
