Dose anyone have any info on a solstice i hear its a good night to cast a spell and im doing a project for school on solstices so id like to know wether it be what they actually are or the more spiritual part of it .............ya

Well in simplest terms they're the peak of light (summer) and the peak of darkness (winter) in the year.

If you're looking for more information on the spiritual aspects of it, you should do a search on Litha and Yule.

If you need a book for your school project, you might try Celebrate the Solstice by Richard Heinberg. It has lots of info on how solstice is celebrated in different cultures around the world. You could try The Winter Solstice by John Matthews too. Hope this helps.
