I found a pretty cool technique for scrying which actually works pretty well.
Since all you really need to do to scry is provide some kind of mechanism for your higher self to display information... I never really had much success with the black mirror. Or even my astral mirror for that matter.
However, I did find that using my astral laptop as a tool works miracles!
First thing you gotta do is meditate for a while & center your mind.
Then bring up your computer in your minds eye. Picture your hands on the keyboard, and visualize your desktop. Start rummaging through your files and folders & notice how your mind fills in all the content so fast. Keep doing this for a while. This is how you would prime the pump.
Finally, when you are ready. Open up your favorite web browser on your astral computer, and point your address bar to Google.com (this could be anything for that matter, google is just my preference).
When I first tried this, I wanted to get a psychometry reading on this pen I found in my lab. What I did was visualized the pen in the actual address bar (which was really on my lap) and hit search. I didnt bother focussing on any of the textual results, although Im sure these would have contained some accurate information. I immediately clicked "images" and saw the picture of the pen owner in the results! It was Amelia, this girl in my class. I returned the pen to her, and sure enough it was :)
So naturally, you can type questions or people's names and such in the search bar. Use your imagination!
The reason I think this technique is so much more effective than a black mirror is... Well whatever astral tool we use for conveying information, I think actual practicality and experience are a critical factor. I am certainly not familiar with mirrors conveying information. But I have been conditioned all my life to associate computers with information!
So yea, stop scrying with mirrors! Use your computer or cell phone!
