Goddess, if I must be ill, PLEASE do not let it progress to the point it has in the past. I cannot *do* another hospital stay. And even emergency room visits might be a bit too much. I'll drink every tea, and ingest every herb known to mankind if it will keep me from having the problems that I usually have. Allow this to pass from me, Now is not the time for illness. Solstice is almost here, I have SO many decisions to make, and follow through with after the holidays pass...please...give me the strength with which to do them. Allow me to get over this..whatever it is, before it lands me in the hospital as usual!

Thank you mother, for allowing me to get medical treatment before it was too late. Thank you for not letting it get to the point where I needed to be hospitalized again. Thank you for ALMOST a year (it will be a year in the second week of february) since i've had to stay in the hospital. Please, continue to keep me relatively healthy. Continue to allow the medications I received, to take effect. Allow me to get the rest that I need, the healing that I need, so I can be strong for all that is coming in the New Year.

Thank you that I can breathe.

Protect me from the effects of the stress that John is under right now. Things have always been rough with him, but now, it seems worse than ever. His outbursts, his anger, his damaging words....they weaken my defenses. They weaken my health. They weaken my spirit. Build a fortress of protection around me, so that he cannot harm me further. Build a fortress of protection, that whatever words he speaks, they will not damage me further. Especially while I am healing from this physical illness, Goddess, protect me from mental and emotional harm, so that I may focus all of my energy on my physical healing. Help me to grow stronger each day, so that the decisions I must make, and the choices that I must make for my own strength, sanity, and well being will be followed through on.
