New Years spreads

As everyone knows, the New Year is coming up very fast (too fast if you ask me...) and I was wondering if anyone had any specific spreads that they use to do a reading for themselves or others about the upcoming year.

See my birthday thread below from a few days ago. I basically ask for three cards, then divide the deck into three and look at the bottom most card of each pile. These give me an idea of what's coming and what to expect. After last year being hellish, I was happy to find the Ace of Swords, Strength and the Sun - suggesting the year to come had lots of positive challenges to offer me.

I just do a 12 month reading with a Summary card. I position them in a circle with the 13th one in the middle. Start anywhere you please, first card laid is that first month. If you are doing a year readins from March to Feb, then the first card laid is March. See?? ;)
