MM everyone,

Hope everyone is doing well today, I know I am. I've been blessed and I'm thankful for all the things in my life.

Does anyone here no about totem animals, or a good site that I could go to find information about my Totem animals. I recieved a Tarot reading about a week or so ago, and in the reading two animals came to the reading.....the dolphin and a white snake.

So if anyone can tell me anything or where I can go to learn about these things that would be fabulous!

http://www.animalspirits.com is the one usually suggested. It has some info on many animals, but is largely ripped of Ted Andrews' Animal Speak book (not that it probably matters here)

Dolphin;
Knowledge of the sea
Patron of sailors
Change
Wisdom
Balance
Harmony
Communication skills
Freedom
Trust
Understanding the power of rhythm in your life
Use of breath to release intense emotions
Water element magick

Snake:
Messanger of the Rainbow Serpent
Elusiveness
Manipulates lightning
Transmutation
Exploration of the mysteries of life
Primitive or elemental energy
Protection from religious persecution
Goddess energy
Psychic energy
Creative power
Immortality
Connection to or forms the magic cord by which the shaman travels to the soul world

For what it's worth "Understanding the power of rhythm in your life" is sticking out at me from under Dolphin, and I have a feeling the snake is more about your personal feelings about snake (that is, something you should meditate on - why you dislike them or what they've represented in the past, that sort of thing).

As to the latter, I have an interesting point - the snake used to come up for me and I didn't know why (I'm not afraid of them, nor do I like them really - I'm happy without one in front of me basically). Turns out the snake was a symbol of protection, and my friend said she could see him as coiled around me. She reiki'd stones for me; two she'd found that resembled snakeskin.

Months later I was looking at chinese horoscopes when I realized my fiance is the snake. Duh. :D
