Weird feelings working with energy

I've recently been practicing grounding & centering...grounding has come easy to me. When I center and draw up energy from the earth I feel good and stable, too. But when I draw universal/cosmic energy into my crown chakra or anywhere for that matter, my head starts spinning My eyes are closed but I can tell things are "spinning". I get dizzy and have to open my eyes.

Then it runs down my body and starts making me extremely aroused which then ruins the whole grounding I did at the beginning. This happens every time. I figured this has to do with my sacral chakra, and when I "see" it it is bright orange and seems to be glowing 3 feet all around. After I visualize that glow dimming and becoming more contained in my chakra the feeling goes away.

Maybe I sound crazy but it's annoying ..how do I stop this? Is cosmic energy too intense for me or what?

I agree with this. I actually had something similar happen when pulling up from the center of the earth. I wasn't really paying attention to how much I was pulling, and ended up pulling in quite a bit more then I could handle. You have to control the amount of energy you pull in. :)
