Okay I had no clue where to post this so I did it here because I'm not very experienced also, I'm not very psychically inclined. Okay, one day I got a vision? Something about it told me that was how I was going to go. I think I'm going to fall. Not like down stairs or anything but off a mountain. I am often hiking and I have been a rock climber since I was 8. I just know that one day I'm going to be hiking/climbing outdoors and I'm going to slip and fall off. I just know. It was not like I was just thinking about it being paranoid because sometimes I do that. It was like a fact.

Well, if you enjoy that activity, why is it bad to die like that? We all die at some point, and to be honest, I'd rather die doing something I love than doing something I hate.(I would have loved to be one of the musicians on the Titanic...) Personally, dying that way is better than dying in severe pain after an illness or some such thing. Death is not something to fear really. It's not something to want, but it happens. Avoid death for as long as you can, but when it comes, try to make it come on your terms when you know you must go with death.

I think I knew how I may have died in a past life(not certain I believe in them. I have had this vision repeatedly of myself looking at a blue sweater and watching TV about the Pope getting an assassination attempt(like an OLD school TV.), and then it switching to something about winter weather and how it would be great for skiing, and then I think that I'm going to go skiing, and the next thing I know, I just feel sharp pain and coldness whenever I've had that vision. I know it's not myself because I look different. Though I've actually had a lot of visions of myself freezing to death... Once I was in a forest a long time ago(not certain of the era, seemed 1700s ish) and trying to get back to a village, and then I just decided to lay down in the hopes my husband would find me(For the record, I'm unmarried and a teen IRL),as I thought I heard him, but I also think I was injured in it, because I remember something about blood and feeling it being warm then cold on my stomach/torso. It was getting dark. Probably why I like hot weather so much...) I've never had a vision of how I'm going to die in this lifetime.

I do get a fear of the military if they're there as riot police(I'm rather left wing, so that's probably why.), sometimes, but that's probably nothing, though slightly odd since Ares is one of my main Gods and normally I'm pretty chill with such things. I'm guessing it's probably just due to vibes I get from them, the general fear they give off and need to steel one's personality in such events. I get the same vibe around many scary Christians.(The ones that are of the stance that Catholics are going to hell and worship the Virgin Mary and sacrifice Babies. Basically, Chick Tracts but in real life. I rarely meet them though!) It's just... A bad feeling if I'm not warding myself enough. Some graveyards have that feeling as well, of people who just weren't happy. Personally, I think the past life visions might be messages from my ancestors or local spirits or just my Gods having fun messing with my mind. Or just general warnings.

However, I have had a few odd visions, and it's pretty harmless for me. I'm generally a very psychic person, and I generally do get those feelings pretty often. It's important to consider them in the context they're in, and think about how they make you feel, and rule out mundane causes. If things like that don't make you feel bad and you've just accepted them, it's more likely to be from the Gods or spirits as opposed to a phobia.

I'd view it more as a warning not to take unnecessary risks while out there... but that's just me.

It's saying (to me) you have the skill and the knowledge, ensure you use it at all times.

It could be a sign, but it may also just be a warning like TheWomanMonster said. I have had dreams where i get into dangerous situations but they dont effect me as strongly as it has effected you. Just be careful when you do go hiking.

Not that anyone cares, but I fully intend to die at age 112, while having sex on a motorcycle going 110 mph, under the influence of hallucinogens.

Sounds good to me.

Maybe you won't die, but it'll alter your life forever- thus killing off some old habits and starting a new phase in your life?

Death is perceived in different ways to me. :)

It may be the case, but maybe not. I used to always have dreams that a stranger would try to kill me. Sometimes they didn't bother me, sometimes they did.I had those dreams frequently for months, but then it just stopped. Action shapes destiny, so be catious when around a cliff side. I heard a story once about a girl being attacked by a guy and she jumped off the cliff to avoid him. She lived, so maybe you would too. But trust your intuition, and keep in mind that you just have to watch your back.

I agree with what the others have said..especially of it possibly being a warning. It could also simply be your subconscious creeping up on you..bringing out subtle fears you may have about what you do. Are you planning to go rock climbing anytime soon? If so, is there any reason for you to be more worried about it than normal (ie a new area, etc)? Have you had worries of falling before the dream? Just a thought
