My poor Pook. She has been running a high fever since last Sunday and she is feeling so run down, and awful. I was hoping you could send her some healing energy. I'd appreciate it. :)

We're off to the dr's if she is not better in the morning.

Thanks for all of your thoughts and energy. She is better this morning, only a fever of 100* but now she says when she swallows, there are big bumps in her throat. So we are going to try and get an appt- they have hours 10 am to 12 on Sundays, yay.

This is the worst time of year for her to get sick- we have a big Yule dinner planned, A Christmas luncheon tomorrow, 2 parties Christmas Eve and lots of people here on Wed.


And *fingers crossed* that no one else (like me!) gets it either....

The verdict: Viral thraot infection...which means I can do nothing. I am, letting her drink some weak chamomile tea and honey and trying to get her to rest a bit.

IMO Vitamin C with Zinc throat lozenges help with viral stuff. Sorry the poor kid is sick... hope she is better soon.
