Recently I was thinking about a god, and all the sudden I got confused. Now when i think about him i feel very, very confused. I've tried praying and meditating but havent been able to find any answers on why I feel so confused. I normaly feel very close to this god, so this has been worrying me. :sadman:
Is there anything else I could do? rituals, prayers?
Anything will be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes when that happens it's best to let things rest for a time before trying again.
I'm sure you'll find the connection re-establishes itself, though perhaps in a new way.

I dont really get the "new way" thing. would you be able to clarify on that a bit more?

Just a thought here.
Sometimes a deity will withdraw from consciousness for a while. They don't really leave, but you're not able to sense them for a time. I think they do this to teach you to trust in their love and care for you. They want you to mature.
I wonder if what you're experiencing something along those lines. I don't know who your god is, but possibly he is allowing some temporary interference to manifest to give you an opportunity to learn not to panic but to be patient and wait. Or, perhaps there's a lesson here in learning how to sense him through distractions; we all need to learn how to continue hearing that still, small voice of Spirit when there's a hurricane going on all around us.
In any case, panicking isn't the answer.
Blessed Be! :)

I just mean that the connection might not be exactly the same.

Take a word from experience.... relax. :) Connections sometimes come and go. If one area is "confused" or "blocked" look at another area for a while. You may just not be ready to continue on whatever aspect you were on, until you work on others. I lost my patroness for over a year, and now my connection to her is stronger then ever.

What about this god is confusing you?
Knowing the source of the current problem will go a long way to figuring out how to resolve it.

I'm not entirely sure whats confusing me. I feel... disconnected some how. But i am still strongly drawn to him.

I would suggest doing a systematic examination and see if you can figure out what is feeling disconnected and on what levels. It's likely not a simple thing, but something that has many facets to it. Nor does it necessarily have anything to do with the god in question. It could be the result of your being stressed over something in meat life, for example.

Not to play up on the achems razor idea but, this god you connect to.. he's not associated with trickery, mischieviousness or "confusion" is he?

Judging by your avatar then i'm gonna venture a guess it's Anubis. From what I know of him... and it isn't much... I wouldnt associate him with trickery and confusion either. A jackal however...
Of course being a god associated with death, the afterlife, and the trip between... it could be a lesson on being disconnected from something you are use to much as when we're parted with our physical forms.
OR i could just be thinking to much into it... ^_^

You judge correctly... I miss the conection. During meditation, i have found that i feel it only slightly. I have also recently decided to do a dedication to him. Do you think that could restablish some connection?

Well the gods are much like children... They love attention, throw tempertanturms on the slightest whim and at the same time can show kindness like no other.
Dedication could work, but I'd reccomend looking at things going on in your life and look to why he may be withdrawing his influence from you. I tend to think that if the gods change something that noticeable... they're trying to teach or make you aware of something to teach yourself.
Reflection, contemplation, and it never hurt's to ask him for help... Never know he might give you a nudge. ^_^
Hope this helps.
