Is there anyone out there who is as attracted to the Fire element as I am? Thats not the strangest thing either, for I seem to also be attracted to Ice at the same time. Complete opposites that both draw me to them.

But that dosen't mean I like earth & air any less that fire & water.

I'm an Aries so I love fire!:D only controled fires that is, like bonfires at Halloween. But,yes, I very much am attracted to the element fire. So you're not alone, FireChild. :rotfl:

I'm Sagittarius and more attracted to air than anything else, funny note about it, when I do my circle call, I always get a bit nervous when I get to water........wonder why?

Greta I got an idea about it.
I know you said somewhere that you always cast a circle to help you control your energies till you are ready to release them. Maybe the reason you get nervous at water is the great destruction potential of water and air together? Maybe it makes you uneasy cause maybe you might not be able to control it till your ready to release it. Just a thought - what do you think.

Or maybe, something awful happened to you or a memeber of your family during a destrutive storm in a past life. That could be it too.

I don't know, both are interesting thoughts. I have often wondered about the past life thing and have also wondered if I somehow managed an offense that is stuck in the back of my mind............it's really strange as most of my childhood was spent in the water, I grew up on the coast. I was always happiest in the water then.

I'm a Virgo but I am majorly attracted to fire. I have been a major pyro for as long as I can remember. I use it to ground myself, clear my head, regain my energy and strength....etc.

I can't stand fire. 8O I mean, I use candles and stuff as much as the next person, but I don't feel a heavy connection with fire unless I'm working with Loki. He's also rather air, too.. and Demeter's earth.

I don't know why I've an aversion to fire, but I do. So.. yeah. :D

Never had an aversion, really. Pretty indifferent to earth, though. Air seems to be my biggest and deepest connection. Last night it was windy as hell here and I couldn't sleep, I was so keyed up from the energies floating around. Fire and water tie, I think.

At first I thought fire was my element, but I learned that I was respectful of it, almost a sort of awe. After a great deal of digging around with my mind and searching for it, I saw that my element is water. I'm very partial to blue/clear objects, and am right at home in the water. I've done a some researching with astrology, too, and the color 'blue' and the element 'water' always seem to match. It's neat how some things fit together. :)

...well i'm a typical Scorpio, but i'm more partial to fire, and less-so earth in my craft; since i started practising, i've learned that i do my best work with candle magick or similar, and recently i've been using more herbs and stones etc.

the irony is that, although i'm a water sign, i have real issues with that element; i don't know if it's got something to do with my gran (her dad drowned in WW1, his ship was lost, and she was only a little girl & believed if u cud swim, u wudn't drown), seeing as she drummed into my mum n me that water was really really bad - swimming and stuff. i don't mind 'unnatural' water, i've got no problem with swimming pools other than the way i look in a swimsuit :P - but i get really edgy if i'm ever in/by the sea. it just feels so...alive. but u'd think, being a water sign, i'd find that a good thing. go figure, eh?

I'm a Pisces and have a special affinity for water (nothing makes me feel more at home than being submerged, be it in ocean or bathtub!), but there is something about fire that just captures my attention when I'm near it. Maybe that's what led me to be a voluteer firefighter for three years. :hmmmmm:
