For my mom

My mom was recently ill with what seemed like a cold or flu...she had fever, fatigue, sneezing, headaches and neck pains, and some stomach problems. The stomach problems seem to have stuck around...she's having some pretty bad pain. She's even wanting to see a doctor tomorrow -- which, if you take into consideration she's almost anti-medical industry and almost never sees doctors for anything -- is a big deal.

She's getting older...and I'm just worried about her. I'm especially worried due to her age, loss of her spouse last year, her inability to stop worrying or stressing, her not having had proper medical check-ups and such...

And, it may seem stupid, but I've been picking up more things intuitively lately...and for some reason, when getting off the highway to go grocery shopping, I couldn't get this vision out of my head of my mom in a hospital bed, crying almost hysterically...and my being there, not knowing what to do or say.

I'm just so worried. :( :( :( I hope it's nothing big and that the doctor can do something for her.

I have the same problem at the moment with my daughter who is ten, seems like one thing after another.

I hope the diagnosis is good for her, and that she heals quickly. It's so worrying when it is the ones we love isn't it.x

She's been feeling loads better, and she didn't even need/want to see a doctor today. Hopefully she keeps getting better and will be at 100% shortly. :)

That's good to hear.

My youngest granddaughter got sick last weekend and has eaten very little all week, keeps saying her tummy feels crampy. Mom finally took her to the doctor (physician's assistant) this morning before school, and there's nothing serious wrong. It just takes time for some of these bugs to get all the way out our system's I guess.
